Poet. Woman. Mother. Succumbing to the ways in which I must be seen.
In the beginning of adulthood, I muzzled my artistry, worked in the stock market, married a pastor and had a daughter. I then crawled through severe illness for a decade. Since then, I’ve been on a journey of unmasking the writer I’ve always been, for better or worse. I’ve published poetry in my orange journal, my green journal and the sticky laptop that my eleven year old uses.
Los Angeles, California.
